The City of Charlevoix will be accepting bids for the Stormwater Management Project. hard copies of bids should be sealed and hand delivered or be delivered via mail by Wednesday, September 9, 2020 at 1:00 pm local time to Charlevoix City Hall, 210 State Street, Charlevoix MI 49720. Sealed bids should be clearly marked "Stormwater Management Project". Late proposals will not be accepted. Electronically submitted proposals will not be accepted.
Questions regarding the contract documents, agreement, job specifications and job site conditions shall be referred in writing via email no later than Friday, September 4, 2020 at 2:00 pm to Ryan Winston; email:
Complete sets of plans and specifications will be available electronically on Friday, Aug 14, 2020. All bidders will be responsible for the entire set of Contract Documents.
A Bid Bond (attached, AIA Document A310, or suitable alternative), Cashier's Check, a bank draft or Certified Check in the amount of 5% of bid (including alternates if applicable) must accompany the bid. Failure to provide the correct bid deposit may result in the bid being rejected.
All bids will remain firm for a period of sixty (60) calendar days after opening of bids.
The owner reserves the right to accept or reject any one or all bids, to waive irregularities, and to accept a Bid which, in the Owner's opinion, is in the Owner's best interests.
