July 18 - Petoskey Steeldrum Band (Caribbean) -

Sponsored by The Villager Pub

ThePetoskey Steel Drum Band brings a unique sound to events all over Michigan. This group of about 30 high school students performs a blend of Caribbean steel drum music with contemporary tunes. The combination of exciting rhythms and vocals captivates audiences and creates a refreshing experience that is sure to get you out of your seat!

August 1 - Ray Kamalay & His Red Hot Peppers (jazz)

In the early 1930’s, in ballrooms across America, hot jazz, laced with exciting improvisation, and ballads, blue and melancholy, told stories of joy and tragedy, and provided rhythm for dancers of the two-step, the Lindy, and Swing. Ray Kamalay and his Red Hot Peppers are some of the finest players in the United States, playing this music with all the excitement and sentiment typical of the period.

August 8 - 1000 Watt Prophets (blues) -

Sponsored by Fox Charlevoix Ford

Soulful vocals blend with road tested musicianship to create a new twist on old sounds. Featuring lead singer Zak Bunce, 1000 Watt Prophets will take you on a journey from the jazz club to the juke joint, through the dance club and even into a tent revival or two (they are Prophets, after all). Some call this style of music New Retro but we just call it a great time!

August 15 - Matt Austin (country)

Nashville Singer Songwriter and Recording Artist, Matt Austin was nominated Best New Country Artist 2016 by New Music Weekly and his recent sophomore single, “Bad Feelin,” reached #1 for 4 weeks on the New Music Weekly country charts! Originally a Detroit Rock headliner, Matt’s evolution from Rock to New Age Country has been a road of discovery. Now it’s your turn to discover this talented singer, songwriter and musician.

August 22 - Doug Thomas Music (classic rock)
