Beaches
The City has five picnic pavilions that can be rented for the day. The pavilions are located at Depot Beach, Michigan Beach and three are located at Ferry Beach. For additional information, maps, and instructions on how to reserve a pavilion visit the Recreation department website. Click on the Facilities tab and select Pavilion.
Parks
If a citizen wishes to erect a tent or hold an event in a City park, please download the Event/Planning Worksheet (PDF). Once the form is completed, City staff will review the request and coordinate needed items. There is a small fee for using the park. All park uses are non-exclusive. East Park is not available for private events.
Clarence Odmark Performance Pavilion in East Park
Concerts and other events at the Odmark Pavilion are administered by the City's Recreation Department. For information on reserving the Odmark Performance Pavilion in downtown Charlevoix’s beautiful East Park please contact the Recreation Department at 231-547-3253.
